- Turn it on and connect Twitch and/or Kick.
- Allow it to ban on your behalf (one extra permission — you'll be asked while connecting).
- Leave it running. It works on our servers, so this page doesn't need to stay open.
Connect the channel(s) to guard. If you already use Multi-Chat, it's the same connection — nothing to set up twice.
🛡️ Chat Guard — auto-ban bots
FAQ
Who does it ban?
Accounts whose messages look like the “buy followers / viewers” spam bots send (for example “Best viewers with streamboo .com”) and the chat-bot adverts that tell you to “type !noads”, plus any phrases you add. It never acts on you, your moderators, VIPs or subscribers, and you can list usernames it must always leave alone.
Can I try it without banning anyone?
Yes — turn on Test mode. It only writes what it would have done to the list on this page, so you can check it's catching the right accounts first.
What if it gets one wrong?
Every action it takes is listed on this page with an Undo (or Unban) button next to it.
Does this page need to stay open?
No. Chat Guard runs on our servers once it's on and your channel is connected. You only come back here to change settings or review what it did.
How is this different from Multi-Chat?
Multi-Chat shows your chats together in one feed. Chat Guard only moderates. They share the same Twitch/Kick connection, so connecting one connects the other — but you can use either on its own.
