Some hunts are planned well in advance with clever rhymes for every hiding spot; others come together five minutes before the kids wake up. This works either way — type out every clue ahead of time, leave them all blank and write them by hand once the eggs are actually hidden, or mix the two: type the ones you've already thought of and leave the rest as ruled lines for later.
Do I have to type every clue?
No — leave a line blank in the clues box and that card prints with ruled lines instead, ready to fill in by hand. Leave the whole box empty and every card comes out blank.
Can I make some cards typed and others blank?
Yes — type the clues you already know and leave a blank line for the ones you haven't decided yet. Each line lines up with its card number in order.
What size do the cards print at?
Roughly 3.9×2.5 inches each, arranged 2 across and 4 down on a standard US Letter page — a hunt of 16 eggs comes out to exactly 2 pages.
Are my clues sent anywhere?
No. Everything — the card designs, the PDF itself — is generated locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
