Guess the Celebrity

FAQ

How does guessing actually work — is there a fixed list of names?

No fixed dictionary — chat just spams whoever they think it is, and whichever name gets repeated the most simply becomes that round's official guess. That means near-misses, nicknames, or slightly different spellings can still "win" a round as long as enough of chat converges on the same version.

How does the photo get clearer?

Each wrong guess reveals a bit more of the same underlying photo — it starts heavily pixelated and sharpens in stages, so earlier correct guesses are worth more in terms of how little chat had to see.

What happens after all 5 guesses are used up on one photo?

If nobody's gotten it right by the final guess, the photo reveals fully, the correct name is shown, and the game moves on to the next celebrity in the round.

Can I focus on a specific category instead of a mixed round?

Yes — search for a specific category when setting up, or leave it on "All Celebrities" for a mixed round pulling from everything available.

How do I show this in OBS?

Copy the OBS browser source link from your dashboard and add it as a Browser Source in OBS (Sources → Add → Browser) — the current photo, its pixelation level, and live standings will then update directly in your scene.
