🎛️ Stream Deck Web Panel

Control OBS Studio from any browser — switch scenes, toggle sources, mute audio, start or stop your stream. Connects directly from your own browser to your own OBS; nothing passes through our servers.

Recent browser versions show a one-time permission prompt the first time a page tries to reach a device on your local network (like OBS on this computer) — this is a normal browser security feature, not an error. Accept it to connect.

Find your host/port/password in OBS under Tools → WebSocket Server Settings. If you're connecting from a different device on the same network (like a phone), use this computer's local IP address instead of "localhost".

FAQ

Is anything sent to Cwtch.es's own servers?

No — this page connects directly from your own browser to your own OBS over your local network. Your password, scene names, and everything else stay entirely between your browser and OBS.

My browser showed a permission popup — is that normal?

Yes. Modern browsers now ask permission before a website can reach a device on your local network, which includes OBS running on this computer. Accepting it is required for this tool to work, and it's a one-time prompt per browser.

Can I control OBS from my phone?

Yes, as long as your phone is on the same network as the computer running OBS. Use that computer's local network IP address (something like 192.168.1.x) instead of "localhost" in the host field.

It won't connect — what should I check?

Make sure OBS is open and that WebSocket Server is enabled under Tools → WebSocket Server Settings. Double-check the host, port, and password match what's shown there, and make sure nothing else (like a firewall) is blocking the connection.

Does this work with older versions of OBS?

You'll need OBS 28 or later, since that's when the current WebSocket protocol (v5) became built in. Earlier versions used a different, incompatible plugin protocol.
